Old appliances are heavy, sharp, and full of things the landfill should not get. We pull them out and route them to the right place.
Refrigerators, freezers, and window units contain refrigerant that has to be recovered by a certified handler before the metal can be recycled. We do not put those on a curb or in a hole. They go to a processor that reclaims both the refrigerant and the steel.
Working appliances are worth more than scrap. If your washer, dryer, or range still runs, we will try to place it with a local reuse program before it gets scrapped.
We handle the disconnect for standard plug-in units and unhook water lines on washers and simple water heaters. Hard-plumbed gas appliances need a licensed plumber to disconnect first. Tell us when you book and we will make sure the timing works.
