About N. GA Junk

N. GA Junk is a local junk removal and hauling company working out of Woodstock, Georgia. We are not a call center that dispatches to whoever is closest — the person you talk to and the crew that shows up work for the same small company, in the same handful of towns, every day.

That matters more than it sounds. It means we know which Towne Lake subdivisions have a rule about what can sit at the curb, that the drive up to Big Canoe takes longer than the map says, and that a Kennesaw storefront cannot have a truck out front on a Saturday afternoon. Those details are the difference between a job that goes smoothly and one that does not.

How we work

We quote before we lift. We show up in the window we gave you. We put down floor protection, take the stairs, and sweep the space before we leave. And we sort every load for donation and recycling instead of driving straight to a hole in the ground — because most of what people call junk is still perfectly good to somebody else.

Our crews are insured employees, not day labor found that morning. They are in uniform, they are background checked, and they will tell you honestly if something is beyond what we should be handling.

Where the donations go

A surprising share of what leaves a garage is still useful. Furniture that just needs a room to sit in. Tools somebody would love to have. Appliances with years left in them. Sending that to a landfill is wasteful and, honestly, a little insulting to the stuff.

So we sort. Usable household goods go to charities and reuse programs around Cherokee and Cobb counties, metal and cardboard and electronics go to recyclers, and mattresses go to a mattress recycler that breaks them down. If you want a donation receipt for the items that get accepted, ask on pickup day and we will get you one.
